Professor Linda Hancock

 

 

Professor Linda Hancock currently holds a Personal Chair in Public Policy at Deakin University in Melbourne. She teaches and researches on public policy analysis, global governance of dangerous consumption, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the social and ethical implications of new alternative energy technologies. She holds a PhD from Monash University and was part of many prestigious organizations such as being the chair of the Independent Gambling Research Panel of Victoria from 2000 – 2004 and president of the Victorian Council of Social Services Board for five years.

Her research is usually around the public policy, transnational corporations risks and regulation, CSR and the ethical supply chains with alternative energy productions. Some of her work falls under the new field of nanotechnology, in which ethics and social policies should be taken into account to avoid future risks.
